The relationship between Nelsons and the BachTM Original Flower Remedies
goes right back to Dr Bach's day. Wanting to make his flower remedies
more available to the general public, Dr Bach enlisted the help of
Nelsons Homeopathic Pharmacy back in the 1930s. Under his instruction,
we began to make and sell stock essences from the mother tinctures he
supplied.
The relationship between Nelsons and The Dr Edward Bach Centre,
based at Dr Bach's former home, Mount Vernon, in Oxfordshire, continues
to this day. It was formalised in 1993 and Nelsons is now responsible
for the full manufacturing process for the Bach Original Flower
Remedies.
The remedies are still prepared to Dr Bach's specifications - the
mother tinctures are made at his home, Mount Vernon, in Oxfordshire,
now known as The Dr Edward Bach Centre. The bottling of the remedies is
done in our licensed laboratories in Wimbledon.
The arrangement between The Bach Centre and Nelsons means that the
flower remedies can be bottled to the highest standards on a larger
scale and meet the necessary regulatory requirements without
compromising Dr Bach's instructions in any way.
The Bach Centre remains independent for all time, offering advice
and information to the general public, running and approving
educational courses and maintaining the International Register of
Practitioners through its educational wing, The Dr Edward Bach
Foundation.
