Class of 2020 Athletes to receive SportsAid Awards
NELSONS ANNOUNCES CLASS OF 2020 ATHLETES TO RECEIVE SPORTSAID AWARDS
Nelsons is supporting 20 of the most talented young British athletes through SportsAid for the second consecutive year. Nelsons, one of the world’s leading - and Europe’s longest established - manufacturers of natural healthcare products, provides the next generation of sports stars with financial assistance, recognition and personal development opportunities.
The partnership sees the athletes receive an annual award of £1,000 to contribute towards costs such as travel, accommodation and equipment. The athletes being supported by Nelsons in 2020 stretch across 11 sporting disciplines. They are among the country’s brightest prospects having been nominated to SportsAid by their sport’s national governing bodies.

Nelsons has enjoyed a number of successes stories with SportsAid. Most notably, para triathlete Hannah Moore, a two-time ITU world champion, is a previous beneficiary while para long jumper Karim Chan, who won gold at the World Para Athletics Junior Championships in 2019, continues to receive support.
